To Separate
2026
To Separate explores the value of a boundary. Two large brutalist geometric masses are distinguished by a central void. Their distance allows each to exist on its own terms. The space between them becomes an active presence: an invisible line that defines, orders and enables each element to retain its identity. Matter suggests that separation need not entail loss. Sometimes distance is what allows us to understand the value of what stands before us.
