Broken Stele
2026
An essential vertical form recalls the memory of ancient stelae, transforming it into a contemporary reflection on the fragility of permanence. The stone-like surface is crossed by a fracture that interrupts the continuity of the work without erasing its identity. The two parts remain close yet slightly misaligned, creating a tension between loss and reconstruction. An interrupted line crosses the break and resumes its path with a subtle shift, suggesting that even what is fractured can continue to exist in a new form.
