Chromatic Resonance

Eco di Rothko is a chromatic study inspired by the atmospheric intensity of Mark Rothko’s painting language, reinterpreted through a structured vertical progression of color. The composition unfolds from bottom to top through a sequence of orange, green, and violet fields, creating a slow transition between energetic warmth, organic balance, and introspective depth. Rather than depicting color as static surface, the work treats it as a continuous state of vibration. The vertical movement becomes a form of visual breathing, where each chromatic layer resonates with the next, generating a subtle tension between separation and unity. The result is not a reproduction of Rothko’s visual world, but an echo—filtered through a more geometric and constructed sensibility.
