Urban Geometry Translation
Equilibrio Sospeso is a geometric interpretation of the city of Latina, where architectural and urban elements are reduced into essential forms to construct a new visual reading of space.
A rectangle and a triangle represent the municipality building, translated into structural and directional forces that define stability and hierarchy. In contrast, three ellipses and a circle refer to the fountain in Piazza del Popolo, evoking movement, fluidity, and circular energy within the urban core.
The composition does not function as a literal map, but as a reconfiguration of civic identity through abstraction. Architectural presence is transformed into a suspended system of balance, where solid and fluid geometries coexist in a state of controlled tension.
