I Write Poems · Excerpt

But if I have to be completely honest,
I write them for myself too.
Because when words remain,
it feels as if a part of you
remains with them.
And so I put together
sentences,
memories,
smiles,
melancholy,
and everything that passes
through my mind.
Not to play the teacher,
not to be right,
but simply to say:
“Look,
I have passed through here.”
