What Remains
2026
The final work shifts the focus from object to duration. Absence does not merely leave a finished trace: it continues to produce consequences. What remains is not an inert residue. It is a changing condition, a present in which what happened is still at work. This reading imposes neither healing nor inevitable deterioration. It asks how long matter needs to stop responding. An imprint can become deeper because it is remembered, repeated, interpreted. The ending remains open: recognising an effect does not mean knowing when it will end.
